Welcome

In Leeds we are all committed to getting the very best outcomes for our children and young people. We want every child and young person to be ‘happy, healthy, safe, successful and free from the effects of poverty.’ In 2006 we launched the children and young people’s plan to make this vision a reality. With your help, we have reviewed it this year. This mini-site outlines what we learnt from the review and sets out the priorities that we must now take forward.

These priorities belong to everyone. So we want you to think about how you can help deliver them, to make the changes we need to make a real difference. To help you we have developed a booklet designed to spark discussion about what you and your team are doing. It has a space for you to list your activities and a stand to give it pride of place on your desk!

Together, with everybody working to the same priorities, we can make sure that Leeds is the best place for children and young people to grow up.
